For people who need a safe, honest space to figure things out.
I'm Amanda Lane, a Counsellor based in Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains. I provide support for people carrying a lot and wanting more from life.

Individual Therapy
For the things you carry alone. Whether it's the weight of relationship patterns, persistent anxiety, or the deep depletion of burnout, this is a space to pause. We look at the 'why', the stuff that happens underneath the surface so you can stop just 'getting through' the day and start feeling more like yourself.
The Journey to Now
With over a decade of experience across public health, technology and the NDIS, I view mental health through a wide lens. Since earning my Master's in Nursing in 2013, I have worked with diverse individuals across the lifespan, learning firsthand how life circumstances and systemic factors influence our internal worlds.
I've worked within the NDIS and the technology sector including leading the development of a mental health app which deepened my appreciation for how we can make support more accessible and scalable. I found great purpose in supporting neurodivergent young adults, helping them pivot away from 'fixing' themselves and moving towards building lives rooted in their inherent strengths.
How I Work
I work from a trauma-informed, collaborative approach. I'm not here to diagnose or 'fix' you; instead, we work together to understand what's happening beneath the surface. My goal is to help you build a relationship with yourself that feels sustainable, authentic, and honoring of your unique nervous system.
- Relational & Attachment Focus: We may explore the early patterns that shaped how you connect with others, helping you navigate your current relationships with greater clarity.
- Parts-Based Resourcing: By acknowledging the different parts of yourself, even the ones that feel conflicting, we can build internal self-compassion and find new ways to move through life's challenges.
- A Collaborative Partnership: Our work is a joint exploration. You are the expert on your life, I'm here to provide the tools and space to help you move toward what matters.

“What my Bones Know”
When I'm not in session...
You'll likely find me out walking my dogs, lost in a good book, or experimenting in the kitchen. I also enjoy tending to my herb garden, though I'll admit it's usually more chaos than order.
